Polarity Therapy Training
Come Experience the Energy!
Introduction to Polarity Therapy - 6 Hours
Polarity Therapy is a dynamic health building system that goes way beyond basic massage or bodywork. Polarity was developed by Dr. Randolf Stone DC, DO, ND (1890-1981) who synthesized the wisdom of the East with the research of the West.
The techniques range from chakra balancing to cleansing diets to principles found in Quantum Physics.
We will explore the principles that govern the movement of energy in and around the body, Polarity Bodywork, Polarity Yoga & how to integrate this into a massage session.
Polarity Therapy - 24 Hours
This class will provide a foundation of understanding and experience for balancing the electro-magnetic energy currents of the body. You will learn techniques using light to deep touch bodywork, Polarity yoga, awareness of thought patterns and the role of lifestyle on health. These techniques can stand on their own or be integrated into your massage session. You will finish this class with tools that provide better health for you and more effective sessions for your client.

Fascia: is the soft tissue component of the connective tissue system that permeates the human body. It interpenetrates and surrounds muscles, bones, organs, nerves, blood vessels and other structures. Fascia is an uninterrupted, three-dimensional web of tissue that extends from head to toe, from front to back, from interior to exterior. Because of this, stress in any area of the body has an effect on every other part of the body. Although people most often associate tension and stiffness with their muscles, itfs actually the fascia that accumulates much of this stress and therefore provides much greater relief with the correct approach.
Teacher: Cynthia Pierro, B.S., MTI, RPE, NLP
In 1984, Cynthia began her mentorship in the myofascial technique used in the Hellerwork approach (the bodywork of Hellerwork & Rolfing are similar). A group of 4 different holistic chiropractors and 3 Hellerworker Practitioners guided her hands to become highly tuned at healing and effectively using this technique. Combining that with the wisdom of Polarity therapy creates a powerful bodywork technique and opportunity for all massage therapist. www.circle-of-energy.com
